A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed to make the site work at all; others are only there because they help us, and those we never set unless you say yes.
Your choice
When you first visit you are asked what you are happy with. Nothing optional is loaded before you answer. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page — saying no later also clears the optional cookies already on your device.
Essential cookies — always on
These are needed for things you asked for, such as signing in to your game account, so they do not need your permission. Without them the site does not work.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
seraph_session | Keeps you signed in to your account | Until you sign out |
ros_consent | Remembers your answer to this very question | 6 months |
Stripe (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) | Set by Stripe when you subscribe, to spot fraudulent payments | Up to 1 year |
Analytics cookies — only if you agree
These tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and where they give up, so we can make the site better. They do not tell us who you are.
| Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visits and pages, tells new visitors from returning ones | Up to 2 years |
The game client
These cookies are about this website only. The game itself does not use cookies — it talks to the game server directly, and what it stores lives on your own computer.
Turning cookies off in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies — look under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking everything will stop you signing in or subscribing, because those genuinely need a cookie to work.
Asking us
If you want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, write to us and we will sort it out. Support has the address.
